The candidate selected for this position will be an outgoing, organized, strategic thinker. This position requires candidates that are not afraid of making sales calls - cold and warm, organize lead prospecting lists and staying in touch with previous clients.
The Account Manager provides strategic direction and is a primary point of contact for clients. In this position, you will learn and understand clients' businesses, identify and capitalize on Internet marketing opportunities, and then translate the opportunities into technical solutions and services. You will conduct initial sales conslutations, research and provide written proposals, follow through with the sale and then proactively ensure that clients are satisfied with their Internet marketing solutions and results.
Primary Responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager

Manage a portfolio of dedicated clients

Create and manage prospective client/lead lists

Communicate with prospects - cold calling, warm leads and current clients

Provide leadership for clients in understanding business objectives and recommend Internet marketing campaign strategies to achieve those goals

Attend local events as a company representative to meet new prospects and create professional relationships

Develop strong relationships with current clients to maintain ongoing revenue stream and identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities

Work closely with internal departments such as Project Management and Marketing to provide services required to meet client program expectations

Provide insight on clients' needs to internal teams on a regular basis; represent clients' views, requirements, and experience throughout the organization
Requirements to be considered for the role of Sales Account Manager

1-3 years experience in sales and online marketing

Understanding of return on investment calculations for Internet marketing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extremely organized and detail-oriented

Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment

Ability to work tactfully through challenging client issues
