As an Administrative Marketing Assistant, you will be taking on day-to-day tasks from virtually every department of ROCKET MEDIA. If you like variety and change in your work flow, this job is for you. Get involved in projects, event planning, meetings, handling correspondence and phones while marketing and learning under the CEO of ROCKET MEDIA. Not only will you learn Internet marketing and website design from top to bottom, but you will also have the opportunity for growth and job duty expansion in your strongest areas. Responsibilities Include
 
  • Assistant to CEO for sales and marketing tasks
  • Sales liaison, for writing and organizing technical sales proposal for clients
  • Social Media assistance in client community posting and promotion brainstorming
  • Reputation management assistance in collecting written reviews from clients
  • Organization of overall office, team outings, meetings and other gatherings
  • Calendar scheduling and task management
  • Assists with some human resources functions
  • Customer satisfaction program development and continuation
  • Website xontent input through Content Management System (CMS) - training provided
  • Work with vendors in ordering marketing materials and office supplies
  • Business development assistance as new services, systems and processes are added to the daily flow of the office
  • Analytic data collector from websites and Internet marketing systems/services
 
The successful candidate will be a professional, an internet wizard who thoroughly understands internet marketing, and its functions. The ideal candidate must love challenges, be a self-starter, a quick learner, highly organized and on the ball as well as a strong team player.  
 
Key Attributes / Requirements 
 
  • Must be very comfortable using an Apple computer
  • Strong computer software knowledge in Microsoft Office and Apple iWork programs
  • Internet seek-and-find extremist 
  • Professional demeanor 
  • Proactive client communicator through phone and email 
  • Creative problem solver
  • Organized, organized, organized!
  • Fast and dedicated learner
  • Minimum 2 years experience in position related to the responsibilities listed above with references from related positions. 
  • Community College or Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field (not a must but preferred)
