Gilbert, Arizona – DECEMBER 12, 2011 – Arizona Internet marketing and web design firm, ROCKET MEDIA, partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley to design and launch the organization’s re-designed website.

 

ROCKET MEDIA is committed to maintaining a strong relationship with the community. Each year ROCKET MEDIA selects deserving non-profit organizations to provide web design and development services at no cost. The Boys & Girls Clubs website is the second no-cost site developed by ROCKET MEDIA in 2011.

 

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley was selected for a website re-design because of their dedication to providing hope and opportunities to young people in the East Valley of Arizona. 

 

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley came to ROCKET MEDIA with a desire to restructure their website to better serve their community. The goals of the new site serve the two core functions of the organization itself, to help people become members and to get people involved through the giving of time and resources.

 

The new website performs the first of these goals with an entry field on the homepage that encourages visitors to find the location nearest them by zip code as well as a prominently displayed “Become a Member” button. The “Giving Opportunities” button located adjacently on the homepage serves the second purpose, to get people involved.

 

Another need Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley had for their website was the ability for people from all 10 of their locations and their school to be able to log in and update their individual pages. ROCKET MEDIA provided this functionality through an integrated content management system, which allows multiple users with different roles within the organization to provide relevant, up-to-date information.

 

Other features of the new website include custom created graphical icons, a larger, more modern design and integrated social media components.
