What is a landing page?

Landing pages are service or product specific pages relevant to a search that your visitor may have just performed. Simply put, its a page on your site that you are driving traffic to, from a specified online source. These pages are helpful in all forms of online advertising. When I search for red roses, the ads that I review in my search engine would be most effective if they are linked to a page relevant to my search term red roses, rather than a companys home page from which I now need to locate red roses within.
